We changed our name. And nearly everything underneath it.
Proof of Human is now DAI — Decentralized Artificial Intelligence. Here are the five changes worth updating for.
We're DAI now, and we live at iamai.kg
Proof of Human became DAI — short for Decentralized Artificial Intelligence. The old name described how the network started. The new one describes what it actually is: a way to run AI that nobody owns.
The whole thing moved house. The site, the docs, the download page and the bootnodes all left poh.ge and proofofhuman.ge, and now live on iamai.kg. The coin changed ticker too — POH is DAI, and wallet addresses now start with dai….
Nothing was taken from you in the move. Your wallet keys are the same keys, and balances were carried across to the new chain.
The AI runs on your machine — with no setup
The inference engine is now packed inside the app on Windows, macOS and Linux. No Python, no Docker, no separate model server to babysit. Open the app, and it downloads a model and starts answering.
You choose how big to go. The ladder runs from a 0.45 GB model that works on an old laptop all the way to a 62 GB flagship for a workstation — and the app reads your memory and graphics card first, so it only offers what your machine can really hold. On Windows it now recognises AMD and Intel GPUs too, not just NVIDIA.
Chat grew up as well. You can attach text files and pictures, and every node now ships with tools built in — 22 public data APIs plus onion search — so the AI can go and look something up instead of guessing at it.
You get paid for the work you actually did
The old rule was simple and a bit unfair: whoever won the block took most of the coins, whether or not they had done any AI work.
The new rule pays the workers. The block reward is split between the nodes that actually completed AI jobs, weighted by how much compute each one delivered. The node that packages the block keeps about 10% for its trouble.
If nobody asked the network for anything, a block mints a tiny keepalive instead of a whole coin. New DAI appears when there is real demand for it — not on a timer.
And the split is not something a node reports about itself. Every other node recalculates it from the block's own contents, so running twenty fake identities earns exactly what running one earns.
Pay for AI in your own currency
The chain now carries 14 regional currencies alongside DAI. Not a wrapper, not an IOU on somebody else's chain — real balances you can hold, send and spend on compute.
